DUPLEX (1.4462) and SUPERDUPLEX (1.4410)
MAIN "DUPLEX" AND "SUPERDUPLEX" STAINLESS-STEEL CHARACTERISTICS
- The chemical composition allows to obtain a mixed structure of austenite and ferrite
- Chromium content between 18 and 32%
- Nickel presence between 4,5 and 7%
- The adding of 2,5 – 4,5% of molybdenum and azote increase its corrosion strength
- High mechanic resistance obtainable with work hardening and cold deformation
- High tensile strength and yield strength and fatigue
- IHigh electrochemical corrosion strength
- Common use in offshore platforms and where salt action and corrosive agents is particularly accentuated
- High mechanic characteristics (breaking point RM between 650 and 850 MPa)
- Cannot be tempered
- Good weldability
- Magnetics
DUPLEX & SUPERDUPLEX SCREW MANUFACTURED
We can count a five-years’ experience in self-drilling and self-tapping screws in duplex and super duplex steel with hexagonal head (5,5mm diameter and 6,3mm length) from 25mm to 100mm production, used to produce Oil & Gas system or any other aggressive environment.
