DUPLEX (1.4462) and SUPERDUPLEX (1.4410)

MAIN "DUPLEX" AND "SUPERDUPLEX" STAINLESS-STEEL CHARACTERISTICS

  • The chemical composition allows to obtain a mixed structure of austenite and ferrite
  • Chromium content between 18 and 32%
  • Nickel presence between 4,5 and 7%
  • The adding of 2,5 – 4,5% of molybdenum and azote increase its corrosion strength
  • High mechanic resistance obtainable with work hardening and cold deformation
  • High tensile strength and yield strength and fatigue
  • IHigh electrochemical corrosion strength
  • Common use in offshore platforms and where salt action and corrosive agents is particularly accentuated
  • High mechanic characteristics (breaking point RM between 650 and 850 MPa)
  • Cannot be tempered
  • Good weldability
  • Magnetics

DUPLEX & SUPERDUPLEX SCREW MANUFACTURED

We can count a five-years’ experience in self-drilling and self-tapping screws in duplex and super duplex steel with hexagonal head (5,5mm diameter and 6,3mm length) from 25mm to 100mm production, used to produce Oil & Gas system or any other aggressive environment.
